I started reading Megan Nielsen’s Design Diary years ago…back when she lived in Iowa. It was the first sewing blog I followed and also the first fashion/style blog I followed.
I was excited when she launched her line of sewing patterns but, being busy with life and young kids, didn’t buy one of her sewing patterns until last year. I am so glad I finally did!
The Briar T is my favorite T-shirt ever!
I really liked my precious two Briar T’s but when I saw this tutorial for changing the scoop neck into a v-neck, I knew I needed to try it:
This is my perfect t-shirt! Back, v-neck, fitted but not too tight. I wear it pretty much as soon as it is washed. I think I’ll need to make several more before spring…
I’m never going to buy another t-shirt again…nothing can compare!
I also want to try hacking this pattern into a dress…my vision is to use the cropped version for a striped knit and add a solid colored skirt.
Have you found a favorite t-shirt pattern?
